FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What should a new Blox Fruits player do first?

Level up for stat points, commit to one weapon or fruit for mastery, and push toward the Second Sea so trading unlocks.

How many stat points do you get per level?

3 per level, spread across Melee, Defense, Sword, Gun and Blox Fruit, with a per-stat ceiling equal to your max level.

Where can you trade in Blox Fruits?

Only at the Cafe in the Second Sea and the Mansion in the Third Sea - the Third Sea is recommended.

Is the level cap 3000 for a new player?

Not immediately: grinding gets you to 2800 and Island Secrets add the remaining 200.

Should you use an Elemental fruit early?

The wiki advises against relying on Elemental immunity in the Third Sea because enemies there mostly have Aura.

The full picture

Written from verified facts; labels mark how strong each statement's evidence is.

01

Start with levels, not fruit luck

The single number that governs everything early is your level, because every level gives 3 stat points to spend across Melee, Defense, Sword, Gun and Blox Fruit.

The maximum you can put into any one stat equals your current maximum level, so a level 700 player cannot dump everything into a single category.

Without Race Awakening you can max up to three stat categories, which is why most builds are described as a spread rather than a single focus.

The grindable ceiling is 2800; the last 200 levels come from Island Secrets in the First Sea, at 5 levels per secret, which is why the number in your stat menu can cap out short of 3000.

02

Mastery is the second track

Mastery belongs to the item rather than the character: fighting styles, fruits, swords and guns level separately as you use them, up to a ceiling of 600 (fishing rods cap at 100).

Levelling mastery unlocks more moves for that item and they are usually stronger than the earlier ones, which is why a single deep investment beats spreading thin.

The mastery bonus applies to all damage types, so switching mid-attack from a low-mastery weapon to a high-mastery one increases your damage.

One item to 600 costs 348,679,374 mastery EXP, so pick two or three items to carry your build rather than trying to max everything.

03

When trading opens up

Trading arrived in Update 15 and is the only way to exchange Blox Fruits, game passes and scrolls bought with Robux - unless you are gifting the permanent version of a fruit or the game pass itself.

There are only two trading locations: the Cafe in the Second Sea and the Mansion in the Third Sea.

The Third Sea is recommended if you have access, because it has one extra seat and players there tend to hold better fruits from longer rolling and more raids.

So the practical sequence is: level to unlock the Second Sea, then push toward the Third Sea before you start trading seriously.

04

What to ignore at the start

Do not chase Elemental fruit immunity in the Third Sea: the immunity requirements are high and most enemies there have Aura, so the wiki recommends Buddha or fruits with better grinding capability instead.

Do not grind sea beasts for levels - they are better for farming money than EXP.

Do not judge a fruit by its shop price alone: rolling from the Blox Fruit Gacha gets more expensive as you level, from 32,350 at level 50 to 444,850 at max level without Roblox Plus or Premium.

Bounty and Honor only matter later, and they are level-gated: a max-level player can only earn them from opponents within a 25% level range.

05

How to make the grind less painful

Players with 2x EXP from the shop or codes gain five additional seconds of double EXP after dying, which compensates for respawn time.

Higher-level quests and denser enemy groups beat boss-hunting early, because constant server hopping for bosses is slower than grinding enemies.

PvP is available above level 20 and is automatically re-enabled 15 minutes after a PvP death unless you turn it on manually, so watch your surroundings while grinding in open areas.

At max level you stop earning EXP entirely, so plan your final push once you have the Island Secrets lined up.

06

A first-session checklist

Spend every stat point as you earn it - unspent points do nothing, and 3 per level adds up quickly.

Pick one fruit or sword and commit to its mastery instead of rotating through everything you find.

Work toward the Second Sea for trading access, then the Third Sea for better trade partners.

Track your level against 2800, then start working through Island Secrets to unlock the remaining 200 levels.

Check the Gacha price before rerolling fruit casually: at higher levels it is one of the biggest money sinks in the game.

07

Bounty and Honor: the long-term PvP track

Bounty and Honor are separate from levels and only start to matter once you are near the top of the curve.

At max level a player can only earn Bounty or Honor from opponents within a 25% level range - a Lv. 3000 player can only take it from Lv. 2250 and above.

The range is widest at Lv. 2105, where players can earn Bounty or Honor from anyone between Lv. 1625 and 3000.

Players with 2.5M or more Bounty or Honor cannot gain more from bosses, and those with 250,000 or more cannot gain it from regular enemies.

The ceiling is 30M Bounty or Honor, and PvP itself unlocks above level 20 and auto-reenables 15 minutes after a PvP death unless you turn it on manually.
